Research group: Tactile Robotics

Biography

My background is in Mechanical Engineering with a particular focus on electromechanical systems and mechatronics. I graduated from the University of the West of England in 2019 with an MEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering. During my degree I undertook a sandwich year at Renishaw PLC as a design and development engineer in their CMM probes department.

I am part of the tactile robotics group in the BRL with a particular interest in biomimetics and anthropomorphic design. My current research project looks at the design and application of anthropomorphic robot hands with integrated tactile sensing and control.
